This is a book that was published simultaneous to my solo show that took place in Kilkenny festival 2021. It is a small hardback book with debossed linen cover, the spine has my name and book title printed in gold

There is a long essay by curator Catherine Marshall followed by images of my earlier work. Then images of the 19 paintings which form the content of the exhibition around which this book was based

Helen Comerford is an established Irish artist with work in most of the national collections including, Imma, butler Gallery Kilkenny, Limerick city drawing collection, Galway civic collection, Hugh Lane municipal gallery etc. she is represented in numerous private collections at home and abroad.Her latest exhibition was in kilkenny festival 2021. She is a member of the now well known group, na cailleacha, whose exhibition ‘The age of reason/unreason has just finished a tour starting in south Tipperary arts centre; Ballinglen arts centre and finishing in wexford arts centre. She is the recipient of many awards including the Martyn Toonder award. She has had much support from the Arts Council the latest was a bursary award 2020.
