Tracing Autonomy has grown out of a series of conversations around autonomy, creativity and end of life care, between two artists who work in a hospice in Glasgow - Jeni Pearson and Kirsty Stansfield and philosopher Prof. Ben Colburn, University of Glasgow.

This publication brings together some of the key themes arising from the practical application of the philosophical concept of relational autonomy to participatory arts practice. This small run booklet combines reflective text, photographs and includes a case study of how the Tracing Autonomy framework can be applied to a specific example of practice of creatively working with a disabled young person who has a life-limiting illness.
