
A Beam in the Karmic Strip presents a selection of psychedelic visions and haunted landscapes from Richard Proffitt’s recent works on paper. Includes
an accompanying piece of writing by the artist and an essay by curator Michael Hill.
Richard Proffitt was born in Liverpool in 1985 and is based in Dublin. Proffitt’s work in
painting, sculpture, video and sound often coalesces to form immersive, site responsive installation work. Previous exhibitions include A Memory Circular, Kevin Kavanagh Gallery,
Dublin (2021); May The Moon Rise & The Sun Set, UCC Music Department in collaboration
with Glucksman, Cork (2019); Hold The Candle To Your Eye/Light The Criss-Cross On Your
